1 Machine; transforming me into 'a morning person' on the 1st sip!
When I wake up, I know I'm gonna be...
I'm gonna be making my morning coffee!
I have never owned a coffee machine before, never fancied having one either for that matter. The main contributing factor was that I am NOT a barrister!
The art, or craft of making coffee has always been classified to me.
I'm not a complete idiot, I understand that the beans need to be ground and how that works and happens, I understand, to transform the grind into that beautiful dark chocolate look alike liquid, it needs to have the perfect temp water run through it, into your awaiting vessel (or cup).
I also understand that the milk needs to be frothed to the specified amount for the type of coffee ordered.
What I am at a loss about is; how can a $6 coffee taste so wonderful made by one barrister, then 'spit-out' awful by the next barrister?
Thanks to a recent shop to my local Coles and my ever present 'Bargain-Seeking' eyes, I am the proud owner of a super cute, super easy, super fast mechanical barrister where the coffee is the same quality every time i push the button- and, if I make one for hubby, or he for me, there is generally a kiss exchanged as thanks, not just "Large Skim Latte for EMMA" So, the experience is a lot more appealing at home too :-)
Correctomundo! I have purchased a Dolce Gusto Nestle DeLonghi MiniMe
